Donaven is a queer pop singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and electronic topliner based in Boulder, Colorado.

With nearly 3 million streams on Spotify, Donaven began his journey at the age of 15 by sharing covers and original songs on YouTube and SoundCloud. While his cover songs and renditions are certainly attention grabbers, it's his original music that truly seals the deal and leaves a lasting impression on the folks who come across it. His ability to seamlessly blend classic and contemporary elements is evident in every aspect of his artistry, and his personality is at the forefront of his vision. His passion for music is infectious, and he has a way of drawing fans in and making them feel like they're a part of the experience.

Donaven has an incredible ability to seamlessly blend various genres to create something truly special. This can be a challenge for many artists, but Donaven thrives in his diverse range of influences from bubblegum pop to dubstep to metal, he draws from it all. Fans of his work appreciate the vulnerability and authenticity he brings to the stage. It’s clear he is a genuine fresh talent in the music world.

Stepping into the EDM scene in December 2018, he released the track "Superhuman" in collaboration with mISHØ under Frequency Music. Since then, Donaven continued to expand his network and portfolio with new collaborative projects and singles. Donaven has worked with producers, artists, and labels worldwide, creating emotional melodic bass tracks and sure-fire hits.

Coffeeshop, BTWRKS, and TH3 DARP are among the many talented individuals he has had the opportunity to collaborate with. His music has garnered support from various labels and promoters, such as Airwave Music, Tribal Trap, Future Bass Records, Dubstep N Trap, Shake Music, Maron Music, and Tunemunk Records. In early 2022, his song "Permanent" featured on Spotify's editorial playlist, Electro Mix, which was a massive step forward in his budding career.

Donaven draws inspiration for his present lyricism and passionate, dynamic vocals from artists like James Arthur, Melanie Martinez, Ed Sheeran, Gavin DeGraw, Jonny Craig, and Demi Lovato. His vocal is spontaneous and his themes are often centered around exploring the human condition through his experiences of trauma, recovery, hope, and self-discovery. Some artists are looking to entertain the audience. Others, however, have a much deeper goal. They want to inspire people and connect with them on a much more personal level. Currently, Donaven is recording his first independent project about his experiences after leaving the Christian church, and he recently released the lead single "Speak" in May 2023 and the follow-up “Wanted” this past August.

Donaven has exciting plans for the release of new tunes and collaborations. His Alan Watts inspired track "The Human Game" is set to be released in the coming months, along with more tracks from his upcoming EP.
