DV8 Purim Party!!!

Come celebrate Purim with all your favorite Jews!!

Purim is a Jewish holiday that celebrates the Jewish people surviving persecution and it’s observed by partying it up!

We wear costumes, get drunk (not mandatory), give each other small gifts, and retell the story of Purim- specifically recognizing the courageous actions of the heroine Esther!

You (Jews and non-Jews alike) are encouraged to wear wacky costumes, join the dance party, and participate in the retelling of the story.

The story telling is called a Purim Schpiel and we will have an incredible cast made of all drag and burlesque performers! Audience participation is half the fun and we’ll teach you all you need to know to join in on the fun.
